Paul Merson has urged Arsenal to make a move for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves amid speculation he could be a target for Manchester United.
United have been tipped to make a move for the Portuguese midfielder this summer although they have yet to register firm interest. Declan Rice has been a player of interest for a number of seasons after establishing himself as a key member of the West Ham squad, with the defensive midfield position at the forefront of United's transfer plans this summer.
Bruno Lage's side find themselves competing for a European place after a solid first campaign at Molineux for the Portuguese boss. Neves' future has been speculated about of late and he appears to have no end of potential suitors.

Merson has urged his old side Arsenal to step up their efforts to sign Neves and doubted whether he will remain at Molineux. "If I was Arsenal, I’d be going after Ruben Neves," he wrote on SportsKeeda.
" Manchester United are going to be after him as well. I’m not sure how Wolves are going to keep him at the club, to be honest."
