Tottenham have had a busy summer transfer window so far bringing in five new players to Antonio Conte's squad.
Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster have all joined the club on permanent deals, whilst Clement Lenglet has signed on a season-long loan deal for the upcoming campaign. football.london understands Spurs want to bring in 'two or three' more players before the transfer deadline.
football.london understands the club remain in talks to sign Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence, despite a fee still not being agreed between the two sides. The Lilywhites have strengthened Antonio Conte's squad significantly as they begin preparations for a busy season, challenging on all fronts including the Champions League after beating north London rivals Arsenal to a top four finish last term.

Speaking to SportsKeeda, Sky Sports pundit and former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson admitted he is 'afraid' of Spurs ahead of the 2022/23 season. Merson said: "Tottenham have had a very good transfer window so far. I'm not too sure about Richarlison, and I'd play Kulusevski ahead of him. They're in the Champions League and have more games to play this season, so in that sense, Richarlison ticks a box."
Whilst not being convinced on the £60million signing of Richarlison from Everton this summer, Merson does believe the arrivals of Bissouma and Perisic could play a huge part to any potential future success Spurs should have. Perisic played under Conte during his time at Inter Milan, whilst Bissouma has proven to be an excellent midfielder for Brighton in the Premier League over the past few seasons.
"Yves Bissouma is an unbelievable signing for them. I've seen him boss the midfield for Brighton, and they aren't nearly as consistent as Spurs. Djed Spence is a good signing, but the Championship is a completely different world to the Premier League," Merson added.
"I'm a massive fan of Ivan Perisic. He's a top-draw player, and he works his socks off. Antonio Conte knows him well, and the fans will love him because he's a hard-working player. I think Tottenham have done a great job so far, and I'm afraid they're in for a good season."
