Paul McGrath has attempted to end his feud with Conor McGregor after admitting the war of words between the two 'got out of hand.'
The pair have gone back and forth on social media in recent days, with McGregor making reference to McGrath's troubled past.
McGregor even blocked McGrath on social media after the former footballer took PJ Gallagher's side in a separate row. This evening though, McGrath seemingly brought an end to his feud with McGregor in a touching social media post.

"I hope we’re all had time to think . And realise how out of hand the back and forward this has got. I’m heading back to my corner you do the same . With that I’ll which ya well . Cheers," wrote Paul McGrath on Twitter.
McGrath was praised by many for his classy message.
"You the man, Paul. Rising above always," said Willie.
"Fair play to you for speaking out Paul. You’re an Irish legend on and off the pitch," said David.
While Pat wrote, "You're the best of us @Paulmcgrath5 - thank you!"
The row began when McGrath waded into McGregor's feud with Irish comedian PJ Gallagher. After Gallagher commented on a video showing an ESPN reporter claim McGregor was English, Gallagher said 'You can keep him.'
McGregor didn't take kindly to this and took aim at Gallagher, mentioning his troubled past and well documented mental health issues.
The former UFC dual weight champion then proceeded to challenge both Gallagher and McGrath to a charity boxing match, a challenge which McGrath's son Mitch responded to.
