There may be little to celebrate at the moment for Leeds United, but a number of former players and managers have tasted success in the current campaign.
Leeds sit just one point clear of danger and face a difficult run-in in the Premier League. Their fate is still to be decided, but many prizes have already been claimed in the lower divisions.
Here is a round-up of the former Leeds men who are celebrating success this month...
Paul Heckingbottom
On Wednesday night, former Leeds United boss Paul Heckingbottom propelled Sheffield United to automatic promotion into the Premier League.
The Blades secured their return to the Premier League after a two-year hiatus courtesy of a 2-0 win over West Brom at Bramall Lane.
Luton defeated Middlesbrough 2-1 on Monday to keep their faint hopes of automatic promotion alive, but Sheffield United emerged victorious against the Baggies to create an unassailable seven-point gap.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell
Bailey Peacock-Farrell traded Leeds for Burnley in 2019 but has struggled to establish himself during his three years at Turf Moor.
The Northern Ireland international spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and has served as an understudy to Arijanet Muric.
Peacock-Farrell has starred just seven times for the Clarets in the Championship, but has featured twice in April to help them go on to lift the league title.
Leif Davis
Leif Davis was sold to Ipswich Town last summer and has marked his first season at Portman Road in style with three goals and 14 assists in 41 outings.
The left-back has more assists than any other player in the third tier and was named in the League One Team of the Season last week.
He will be hoping to crown a sensational season by leading Ipswich Town to the League One title at the end of the season.
Ipswich currently occupy one of the two automatic promotion spots and sit just one point behind league leaders Plymouth Argyle with two games remaining.
Sam Dalby and Bryce Hosannah
Sam Dalby has gradually slipped down the footballing ladder since leaving Leeds in 2019, but the 23-year-old is set to become a Football League player for the first time since 2020.
Dalby scored six goals in 40 matches as Wrexham lifted the National League title at the end of one of the most enthralling title races to date with Notts County.
Former Leeds academy graduate Bryce Hosannah also made nine appearances for the Welsh outfit, as they returned to the fourth-tier for the first time in 15 years under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
