Paul Gascoigne's X-rated Margaret Thatcher admission stuns Channel 4's Scared Of The Dark first episode viewers

A new Channel 4 reality show, Scared Of The Dark, debuted on Sunday night featuring a house full of celebrities being forced to spend time in pitch black darkness - and one admission from Paul Gascoigne stole the show right in the first episode.

The series features a host of star names including Gazza, Chris Eubank, Leeds boxer Nicola Adams, Scarlett Moffatt, Chloe Burrows and others competing to complete a series of challenges while remaining in pitch black darkness.

The brand new show, presented by cockney favourite Danny Dyer, will see a winner crowned based on resources won or lost in the darkness through the series.

And there was one scene featuring a very X-rated admission from Paul Gascoigne which had viewers absolutely howling.

Gazza told viewers: "I was at 10 Downing Street and I put my hand round Maggie Thatcher and...I felt it getting hard so I went to the toilet and just whacked one out."

The rest of the celebrities were absolutely howling at Gazza's unbelievable revelation, including Chloe Burrows, who was visibly shocked on the night vision cameras.

Chris Eubank said after the shocking moment: "I don't know Gazza and I don't want to know Gazza. What's legendary is Paul. I want to know Paul, he is a beautiful man."

Danny Dyer was left speechless more than once (Channel 4)

Viewers thought it was hilarious, though.

Which brings us on to our other point; viewers did not warm to Chris Eubank, who kept going on about 'philosophy' and called for him to be removed from the show.
