Fans of EastEnders star Patsy Palmer told her to 'read the room' after she asked fans to subscribe to her £17.99 exclusive content on Instagram.
The soap actress, 49, took to her page to promote 'A Good Life', a page where she will be posting her life in Malibu, how she deals with stress and more.
Alongside a picture of herself posing, she captioned the post: "My days are filled with being a mum , wife , entrepreneur, actress , haircare brand / wellness owner , DJ , writer , influencer and public figure . My time is very precious and who I share that energy with is becoming more important to me .
"I’m so happy that Instagram have created a space for creators to give exclusive time and content to their loyal fans / followers ."
She went on to ask fans if they would like to know how she keeps sane and how she deals with mental stress.
Patsy hopes the content will help others create a 'good life' as they follow her on her wellness journey.
"Let me know what content you would like to see , what inspires you . Do you thinks lives are the best or do you enjoy seeing beautiful content of my trips in nature ?" she said.
"Behind the scenes of what it is to live in MALIBU and the local way of life ? It’s all new and exciting and I’m grateful to meet you all on this journey to the lighter side of life."
Although many loyal fans were excited to see the content, some were 'disappointed' in the actress for charging fans while people are affected by the cost of living crisis.
They took to the comment section to share their opinions on the matter.
"Read the room Patsy. People are struggling to pay their bills at the moment. Very disappointed in this," one user commented.
Another said: "I don't understand why as fans, we have to pay £17.49 per month to get the full patsy life? good luck with your journey, I'll be waiting back here, enjoying the lovely stuff you post for the rest of us and I'm not trolling in anyway! Before anyone gets rude, just sad we have to pay now..."

One thought the exclusive content was a great idea but said they wouldn't be able to subscribe.
"There are so many things we have to pay for now, monthly, it’s a very selective choice. I am in the process of cancelling and resetting what I subscribe to," they said.
The fan went on to share what content they would have loved to see before adding: "The only thing People in The UK are having a really tough time with utilities up 50 percent, food cost up, petrol/deisel crazy prices the tax threshold reduced, council tax rent rises… and you do have a loyal UK fan base x"
Another fan said that the yearly cost for her content works out to more than a TV licence.
It costs £215.88 per year while a TV licence costs £159 per year.
