Former Emmerdale favourite Patsy Kensit is being tipped for a return to the soap as part of a major ongoing storyline.
As Emmerdale fans will remember, Patsy, 55, played Sadie King between 2004 and 2006. Sadie was last seen fleeing the Dales after she and Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, plotted to kidnap Tom King, played by Ken Farrington, only for the soap bad boy to deceive her - leaving her with nothing but a BMW.
Some Emmerdale viewers believe we might see Sadie back in the village as part of the storyline around Caleb and Nicky. The pair, unbeknownst to Emmerdale’s characters, are father and son intent on bringing down Kim Tate.

It has yet to be revealed who Nicky’s mum is but some Emmerdale fans have taken to Reddit to air their theories. One user said: "So Caleb is the son of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate, his son is Nicky, whose mother we don’t know yet. My suspicion is that Nicky’s mother is Sadie King.
"Then maybe we can finally have that Kim vs Sadie showdown we were promised back in the early 00s. It’ll also be a cool way to have Nicky be a Dingle, Tate and King."
Another agreed: "I thought about Sadie King too which would be interesting since she has a history with Cain also and people in the village too and imagine if she feuds with Kim Tate.
"And, since Patsy Kensit has recently had a role in EastEnders she (might) be down for a return to Emmerdale. Just like the actress who plays Kim Tate was on Corrie for a bit and then returned to Emmerdale. I got a feeling it got to be someone who has ties to the village."
At the start of 2023, Patsy Kensit appeared in EastEnders. The acting star, who appeared in Hollywood films Lethal Weapon 2 and Absolute Beginners, has previously said she’d be open to an Emmerdale return at some point.
We reported her state : “I’d love to (return) – I loved the character of Sadie. She was someone who said all the things that people wanted to say in their lives but don’t have the courage to.

“I did that five nights a week on that show – it was fantastic. I lived vicariously through her as she was such a cow.
“I really enjoyed it, I love those matriarchal kind of women and it’s so nice to find a character who pushes the envelope a bit more with that. Never say never. ”
We’ll have to wait and see if this Emmerdale fan theory is correct.
