Patsy Kensit has opened up about her four unsuccessful marriages as she reportedly prepares to walk down the aisle for the fifth time.
The 56-year-old recently reignited her relationship with multi-million property tycoon Patric Cassidy.
Ahead of their reported nuptials, the actress has admitted that walking down the aisle with numerous boyfriends wasn't necessary, instead her focus is on her sons having good relationships with their fathers.
Speaking to the Mirror, she quipped: “You don't have to marry all of your boyfriends. My goals always been that my sons had a really good relationship with their fathers.
“For me. I haven't spoken or had contact with those men. I am very supportive of their relationships with their fathers, but I don't have one. I like it that way.”
Kensit, who married for the first time at 22 in 1988, has divorced Dan Donovan of 1980s group Big Audio Dynamite, Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr, Oasis’ Liam Gallagher and most recently, Nineties DJ Jeremy Healy.
Her most notable marriage was her third with Gallagher. During their relationship, they welcomed a son, Lennon, 22, before they split in 2000.
She is also mother to son James, 28, from her second marriage to Kerr, which ended in 1995.
The Sun on Sunday recently reported that Kensit has reignited her romance with fiancé Cassidy, four months after splitting.
A source told the outlet: “Patsy loves being in a relationship and there are many things she likes about Patric so she has been quietly seeing him again to see if they can make it work.
“Patric is very extravagant and loves to take Patsy out for nice dinners and shower her with gifts and has vowed to treat her like a princess.
“They decided they had too much to lose not to give their romance another go.”
