Patriots considering bringing back fan-favorite game day look

The New England Patriots have had discussions about wearing silver pants instead of the blue pants that they normally use for game day. There is no timetable for when these could potentially come back, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

The Patriots last wore silver pants in a Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears back in October 2022. They failed to come away with a victory, but fans were happy to see the silver pants back.

Now, they are considering bringing them back again for a game or maybe longer. Reiss wrote:

The Patriots have had internal discussions about possibly wearing silver pants (instead of the standard blue) for a game(s), which would give its game-day uniform a different look. But there is no confirmation at this time when/if it will happen. Also, as expected, the team plans to wear throwback jerseys during the 2024 season, with an announcement on a specific game(s) to come in the future.

This would be another change for a Patriots organization that has undergone plenty of them throughout the offseason.

Personally, the silver pants are a favorite of mine. I would love to see them come back into the uniform combinations. It would be a nice switch-up for an organization that is looking toward the future.
