One item at the top of Fabio Paratici's transfer to-do list this summer will be to sign a new striker for Tottenham. Antonio Conte's side have needed to find an alternative to Harry Kane for quite some time but have not managed to do so.
Carlos Vinicius did the job in 2020/21 under Jose Mourinho only for his loan deal from Benfica not to be made permanent, with Spurs failing to strengthen there in both the summer and winter windows. While the team do have Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn who can operate through the middle in Kane's absence, it's clear to see that they require another out-and-out frontman.
So which strikers should they be looking at this summer? football.london takes a look.

Lautaro Martinez
Could Tottenham revisit a deal for the Inter Milan striker? Spurs were keen on securing a deal for the Argentina international ahead of the current campaign but Romelu Lukaku's move from the Nerazzurri to Chelsea put a stop to Martinez's transfer going through.
Pivotal in their Serie A title challenge with 17 goals and three assists in the league, an exit for the 24-year-old could be on the cards if Inter need to balance the books and bring money in. Martinez certainly wouldn't come cheap but he would help take Tottenham's attack to the next level.
Paulo Dybala
Staying in Serie A, Paratici may want to make a move for Dybala as he is set to leave Juventus on a free transfer. Knowing the Argentine well after luring him to Turin during his spell at the club, Dybala also knows all about Tottenham after the club almost completed his signature in the summer of 2019.
Dybala would give Spurs plenty of options as he can play in a number of different roles due to his versatility, but one concern about a deal for the 28-year-old could be his injury troubles in recent years. Dybala, providing he can stay fit, would be a fantastic acquisition as he would bring the experience that Conte desperately wants.
Patrik Schick
Plenty of Tottenham fans will remember Schick for his wondergoal for Czech Republic against Scotland in Euro 2020, scoring from the halfway line. The 26-year-old has taken his good form from the Euros and is now banging in goals for fun for Bayer Leverkusen.
Schick has 21 goals from 24 Bundesliga games this campaign and he still has time to add to his rather impressive tally. Also operating just behind the striker and on the right wing during his career, the player would be an excellent option but Leverkusen would want top dollar for their frontman.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Calvert-Lewin started the season on fire for Everton with three goals in three games but injuries have hampered his campaign ever since. The England international has yet to net since the end of August and he has subsequently slipped down the pecking order for the Three Lions.
The 25-year-old looks on course to depart Goodison Park this summer, with Arsenal and Newcastle United heavily linked. Given Spurs' issues with their foreign player numbers in the past and the need to boost their homegrown numbers, Calvert-Lewin, who hit 21 in all competitions last campaign, could be a player to consider.
Memphis Depay
Depay could be on his way from Barcelona very soon despite only arriving at the Camp Nou 12 months ago on a free transfer. Slipping down the pecking order under Xavi, Barca would be able to make an instant profit on the Dutchman if they decide to part with him.
Linked with Tottenham in the past, the striker has demonstrated this campaign that he knows where the back of the net is after registering 11 goals in 24 La Liga games. Also an option to play on the left flank as well as through the middle, his versatility would certainly benefit Tottenham.
Darwin Nunez
Signed from Spanish side Almeria in September 2020, Benfica could be set to make a substantial profit on Nunez this summer following his goalscoring exploits in Portugal. The Uruguayan has hit a staggering 34 goals in 40 games so far this campaign, with six of those coming in the Champions League.
The 22-year-old looks destined to move on to bigger and better things and reports suggest it could take upwards of £60million to sign him. It really would be a statement signing if Tottenham made a move for the youngster and pulled off a deal.
