Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira admits he was pleased with his sides performance following their 0-0 draw against Leeds United at Selhurst Park. The Eagles dominated for vast periods of the contest, putting Leeds' defence under pressure. Had it not been for some resolute defending and the excellent Illan Meslier in goal, Crystal Palace would have come away from the clash the deserved winner.
And speaking to Sky Sports following the game, Vieira was happy with how his side had played, calling it a "good reaction" following their 1-0 loss to Newcastle last week and the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea.
Vieira said: "We were very conscious on the performance and I was pleased with how we started and ended the game, The only thing missing was a little bit of quality up front. Overall it was a very good team performance and I’m pleased with how we played.
