Patrick Roberts was the Sunderland hero as he curled home a stunner to keep hopes of a play-off spot alive.
The Celtic favourite collected the ball out wide before taking a touch into the angle of the box. He then picked out the top corner in style leaving Watford No1 Daniel Bachmann helpless as the Stadium of Light erupted in wild celebration after the Black Cats recovered from being two goals down to rescue what could prove to be a vital point in this English Championship season.
It wasn't only the players who celebrated like crazy with boss Tony Mowbray suffering a HAMSTRING injury while showing his emotions after the goal in an incredible afternoon of action. Christian Kabasele had fired the visitors ahead after just 17 minutes before former Hibs and Scotland international Ryan Porteous doubled their advantage. But just one minute later Luke O'Nien gave the home fans something to cheer and hope with 20 minutes of the match still to play.

As the clock ticked down and it looked likely Sunderland's hopes of a leveller faded, Roberts stepped up in the fifth minute of added time to fire home. It means Sunderland are seventh in the standings just two points behind Millwall and three behind Coventry - but with two goals less in the goal difference charts - going into the final round of fixtures.
Mowbray and Co travel to Preston on matchday 46 while Millwall host Blackburn Rovers and Coventry are on the road at Middlesbrough.
Speaking about his injury after the game and the celebrations, Mowbray said: "I think it's a hamstring injury.
"I never had a hamstring injury in 18 years as a professional because I was never fast enough but when that goal went in I obviously moved a bit too quick. I'm sure it'll be fine, a bit of treatment. We have a full treatment room but if I can grab a physio I'll be fine."
Asked whether he'll be fit for the final day, Mowbray joked: "I'll be there, but I don't know if I'll be fit!"
