Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are teaming up once again on the golf course.
Mahomes and Kelce will take on the NBA All-Star duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. The latest edition of Capital One’s one-off golf competition, “The Match.” features the two-time Super Bowl champions of the NFL versus four-time NBA champions better known as the “Splash Brothers.”
Mahomes participated in last year’s event, teaming up with Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen in a losing effort against veterans Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Kelce has teamed with Mahomes in past off-season celebrity golf tournaments. He was also regularly featured in the Curry-produced golf comedy TV show “Holey Moley.” This is the first version of “The Match” that will feature an NBA and NFL crossover lineup.
Mahomes, Kelce, Curry, and Thompson are set to hit the links at Wynn Las Vegas for a 6:30 p.m. start on Thursday, June 29, and you can watch it all unfold on the TNT network.
