The Kansas City Chiefs returned to St. Joseph for training camp practices on Monday after losing their preseason debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 10.
Despite their loss over the weekend, Chiefs players looked sharp during their workouts yesterday and looked to be back in rhythm after getting a day off to travel back to Western Missouri.
One of the top highlights of Monday’s practice session was a deep pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to wide receiver Mecole Hardman, which captivated the audience in attendance for Kansas City’s drills.
Take a look at this video of the play below, which was posted by the Chiefs’ official account on Twitter:

Kansas City could have used a play like this against the Jaguars, but the Chiefs will only have to wait a few more days before they get another chance to make magic happen against the Detroit Lions in their second preseason exhibition.
