Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes seemed to be injured after taking a couple of brutal hits from multiple angles in the fourth quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs Week 15 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Though Mahomes wasn’t escorted to the locker room, he was slow to make his way to the sideline and was seen getting a heavy tape put on his ankles before backup signal-caller Carson Wentz went into the game for Kansas City.

In a post to Twitter, the Chiefs’ official account indicated that Mahomes was questionable to return due to an ankle injury. Mahomes remained on the sideline and appeared to be able to walk on his own. The exact nature of is condition is unknown.

How long will Patrick Mahomes be out?
Mahomes isn’t likely to return against Cleveland, but fans will need to wait to hear from Chiefs head coach Andy Reid after the game for a more in-depth update.
