Patrick J Adams has issued an apology after sharing a series of throwback pictures of his Suits co-stars including Meghan Markle.
The Canadian actor, 42, came underfire earlier this week when he shared some behind-the-scenes images from his time on the legal drama amid the on-going Hollywood actors strike.
Suits ran from 2001 until 2011, with Adams playing aspiring lawyer Mike Ross, who went on to establish a relationship with Rachel Zane (Markle).
“I miss my friends. Each and every one of them,” he captioned the post, which also featured his co-stars Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Max Topplin and Gina Torres on set.
He has since deleted the post and shared a statement addressing his actions.
It read: “The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagaftra continues to wage in our membership realistic 21st century compensation and protections,’ he wrote.
“It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry.
“So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead #sagaftrastrong.”
