Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has revealed his post-match chat with Anthony Martial after he scored during the 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Quickfire goals from Marcus Rashford and Martial put United in command at Old Trafford on Tuesday night before Fred rubber-stamped three points in the closing stages. It was a particularly important moment for Martial with his injury setbacks this season.
Backed to be the main man by Erik ten Hag following his appointment, Martial has repaid that support in glimpses when fit and available. However, due to three separate problems, the 27-year-old has only made nine appearances in all competitions - with five goals and two assists to show for his efforts.

Evra was on punditry duties for Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday night and collared his countryman after the final whistle. But what did the ex-United defender say to him?
He said: "I am happy with Martial and I talked with him after the game. I said that I want more goals from him.
"I also told him that I want him to stay fit. It is really important and I think that is why the manager took him off. He wants to take care of his fitness, as well."
On the build-up to Martial scoring, Evra added: "Casemiro was my man of the match. What a soldier!
"He was doing everything. He was the one doing that amazing tackle.
"Let's not forget Bruno Fernandes here with the pass to Marcus Rashford. With his quality, like we say, on the wing he is more effective with putting the ball across to Martial."
