Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has praised Reds manager Erik ten Hag for helping Marcus Rashford in recent months, with the England international in fine form at the World Cup.
Rashford is currently level with Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe and United transfer target Cody Gakpo at the top of the goalscoring charts in Qatar. The 25-year-old scored three goals for England in the group stage as the Three Lions progressed to the knockout stages of the tournament.
The Reds forward was also in impressive form for Ten Hag's side prior to the break in the domestic campaign, with the academy graduate having registered eight goals and three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.
