PATNA: A 55-year-old woman and her two minor grandchildren were run over by the Kamakhya-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express (15624) at Fatuha railway station on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Saroj Devi, Sonali (5) and Akash (4) from a nearby local village, said Fatuha GRP inspector Bharat Oraon.
The accident took place at around 11.50 am when they were crossing the railway tracks while the train had just moved about 100 yards away from platform number 3 after a brief stoppage at Fatuha station.
The bodies were sent to Patna Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
