PATNA: The state health department on Monday reported 125 new Covid-19 cases, against 64,685 samples tested in the last 24 hours. As 201 patients recovered from infection, active cases came down to 1400 in Bihar.
Patna registered 33 new cases against 1307 samples tested. It's positivity rate was 2.52%. A day before, 114 new cases had been registered in Patna. Kaimur had 20 new cases, followed by Bhagalpur (17). Fourteen districts did not register any new cases.
Patna had 531 active cases, followed by Araria and Supaul with 129 each, Bhagalpur (77), Kaimur (56), Gaya (48) and Purnea (46). Among the Covid patients, 44 are admitted in different health centres, including 25 in dedicated Covid hospitals, 17 in private hospitals and two in Covid care centre.
Meanwhile, over 14.33 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the state so far, including over 7.21 crore first doses, over 6.40 crore second and 71.44 lakh precautionary doses.
