PATNA: Even as the city is in the grip of a severe heatwave and the administration has already issued a yellow alert for the next few days; schools, colleges and state government’s offices are functioning as usual. Consequently, people are compelled to move out of their homes for discharging their duties despite the extreme weather.
Health experts have cautioned the people, particularly, the children and the elderly, to take all precautions for staying protected from heatstroke. Unless very essential, they should avoid moving out from their homes during the day hours. And, if they have to go out at all, they must cover their face, head and other body parts well, they said.
