Patients at a Bulwell GP surgery set to merge with another practice have expressed uncertainty.
Springfield Medical Centre, situated in Main Street, will see patients for the final time on March 31 when its partners, Dr and Mrs Mohindra, retire.
The decision was made last year to move the practice's 2,529 patients to the Practice St Albans and Nirmala, which cares for 7,349 patients and is less than 500 metres away.
All patients received notification of the merger in October 2021.
MJ Espina, who has only recently registered at Springfield, said he could see things getting "a little bit worse".
"I have only used it once, but the waiting times are bad already," said the 29-year-old warehouse worker.
"This could make it a little bit worse.
"The only time I used the practice was in the first week and my daughter's letter was mixed up."
Tyler Edson, who lives close to the surgery, said she may have been concerned if it was not for the fact she is preparing to move out of the area.
"It doesn't really matter to me now as I'm moving to Eastwood. I haven't used them much as I've only been here about a year but they've always been fine for me when I have gone."
Another resident, who is registered at the St Albans practice and wished to remain anonymous, said the move "does not bother me".
Vicky Gavin, practice manager at the Practice St Albans and Nirmala, said the team was "ready to look after everyone".
“We are really looking forward to welcoming Springfield patients in April," she said.
"I know some patients may be worried about changing GP practices, but the team here is ready to look after everyone."
Ms Gavin also pointed towards the practice's 'Good' rating by the CQC as well as a recent £200,000 investment into its expansion.
A spokesperson for NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG added: “We are satisfied that The Practice St Albans and Nirmala team will provide good quality care for Springfield patients.”
