One patient told WalesOnline: "[In the ward I'm in], the electricity was off for around 45 minutes and to my knowledge, no generators came on. All monitors were down, many alarms ringing, and one nurse told me that nobody was being allowed to enter or leave the grounds. When power was reinstated, IT people were coming around the ward reactivating the systems." They added that electricity had since returned to the ward and the alarms had stopped.
