Australia Test captain Pat Cummins has said former coach Justin Langer did not need to apologise for being "too intense" during his time in charge.
Langer resigned as head coach on Saturday after rejecting a short-term contract extension and a copy of his resignation letter later emerged in The Australian.
In the letter, Langer said: "My life has been built on values of honesty, respect, trust, truth, and performance and if that comes across as 'too intense' at times, I apologise."
