Holidaymakers are being warned over a number of passport issues that could see them refused entry to their flights.
One man was blocked from his flight earlier this week because his passport was damaged, leaving him spending a day with airport security and £800 out of pocket.
New and replacement passports currently take up to 10 weeks so the earlier you check yours the better. It is important to have a fully valid passport in plenty of time for your trip.
