Passion UA have brought in international reinforcements, adding Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold and Santino “try” Rigal to its roster. The moves come just five months after the North American roster was first acquired from Complexity.
TheMongolZ star Senzu joins Passion UA
When Senzu stepped away from TheMongolZ, he left big shoes for the team to fill just ahead of the StarLadder Budapest Major. And while the team’s stand-in Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal performed amicably across the event, Senzu’s absence was strongly felt.

Eventually, the Mongolian organization announced that Senzu was open to offers, with reports suggesting he would even be open to an AWP role. Luckily for fans, the HLTV number 13 ranked player is sticking to his guns and joins Passion UA as a rifler.
Given his experience in the highly regimented TheMongolZ squad under coach Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanba, Senzu should feel right at home in the Ioannis “JT” Theodosiou-led roster. If he brings his dominant rifle play to the table, he will make Passion UA deadly. And he won’t be doing it alone.

Passion UA sign try as AWPer
try’s international debut, back in 2021, saw the Argentine sniper send French legend Cédric “RpK” Guipouy into retirement after he led his 9z squad to a dominant victory over Vitality. While individually he has maintained an incredible 1.21 rating in the years since, he has struggled to find a team that can help turn that skill into big wins.

Compared to Passion UA’s outgoing AWPer, Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli, try has shown a lot more individual prowess and will look to bring that high ceiling to the international stage.
Alongside the duo of Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol and Michael “Grim” Wince, try and Senzu will bring immense firepower to the squad, now putting the burden of success on the shoulders of the team’s leadership instead. If JT can manage his stars well, this team could quickly fly up the rankings.
But with both of his new recruits entering their first English-speaking roster, there’s a ton of work to be done before Passion UA can establish itself. Will it be ready in time for the Cologne Major?
