Passengers were left fearing for their lives as a "terrifying" brawl broke out mid-flight.
Footage captured the flight which forced a Jetstar plane to make a priority landing last night.
Punches were thrown while a number of people attempted to pull two men apart during the altercation.
It happened just 24 minutes into a flight from Melbourne to Brisbane and left multiple passengers concerned for their own safety.
A worried passenger who was onboard at the time witnessed the brawl and said it was "absolutely terrifying".
"It was unnerving," one told Australia's 9News.
"There was a commotion, there was yelling, people started standing up, it went on for a couple of minutes.
"One gentleman was then escorted to the rear of the aircraft, he had blood on his face... we didn't hear anything else, we had no information."
It's claimed the plane started descending without warning as the captain carried out a priority landing.
Passengers claim one of the men involved in the brawl was behaving "aggressively" before he boarded and a number of them were "surprised" was let on the plane in the first place.
A map of the flight's path shows the aircraft turned around near Mansfield and returned to Melbourne airport.
Australian Federal Police removed the two people from the plane after it arrived there. No arrests had been made.
Shortly after landing, the flight resumed to Brisbane.
A Jetstar spokesperson has since said the airline had a "zero tolerance for disruptive and abusive behaviour".
In a statement, they added: "The safety of our passengers and our crew is always our first priority and we thank our customers for their patience."
