Airplane passengers and crew set to arrive in London on Christmas morning after a 48-hour flight delay employed “a bit of Dunkirk spirit” as they coped with an emergency landing in Azerbaijan.
The Qantas flight from Singapore to London Heathrow had been due to land shortly after 6am on December 23, but stopped in Baku due to a warning light indicating a possible fire in the cargo hold.
