All 15 passengers on board a Letterkenny to Dublin Expressway service were safely evacuated tonight after a fire broke out on board.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the fire at the Dry Arch Roundabout in Letterkenny earlier this evening. Traffic diversions are in place.
Bus Eireann said in a statement on social media: "This is an exceptionally rare occurrence in our fleet and will be thoroughly investigated.

"We’d like to thank the emergency services, our driver and passengers for their rapid and effective response. Passengers have been accommodated to continue their journey to Dublin on another vehicle."
