Glasgow Live reported earlier this week that fans had been 'refused entry' to the gig, in a turnstile shambles before Gerry took to the stage.
Revellers who had queued for hours to get into the show at Hampden Park were told their tickets weren't valid and faced missing the long-awaited show.
A number of attendees took to social media to slam ticketing company Music Glue for the chaos ahead of the first of two shows in Glasgow this weekend. The Castlemilk-born star took to the stage on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd.
One person said: “@ticketmster @g4s @GerryCinnamon chaos getting into Hampden, legitimate tickets not working. No organisation. No management? What’s the fix?”
Another said: “@GerryCinnamon, @musicglue are a complete joke. 3 Tickets bought for today’s Hampden gig 31 months ago. Didn’t post them out when requested. Asked to collect from the venue only to be told there’s no tickets for that name or order number. Ragin doesn’t cover it.”
A third added: “Sounds like @musicglue have seriously screwed up the @GerryCinnamon tickets. None of the tickets purchased online are working at three are insane queues son tells me to get replacements. Already missed half of it. What a joke.”
A spokesperson for the event said: “There was an issue with two of the ticketing systems communicating with each other at two points last night. This was identified and rectified as quickly as possible, and fans are thanked for their patience during those points."
