Party campaigning heats up as key Rutherglen by-election approaches

An SNP win in a key by-election this week would “send shockwaves through Westminster”, the party’s deputy leader has said.

Shona Robison said that if the party wins the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election on Thursday, it would make it clear the constituency rejects Tory Brexit and austerity measures.
