Parts of the UK have been hit by earthquake as residents' homes were left shaking with an "almighty noise".
Residents across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire have reported feeling heavy tremors after a quake hit the region.
According to the British Geological Survey it struck at about 8.20pm on Wednesday night.
