Later, Tasha shared a picture of Ross and a young child, writing: "Ni Night to my best friend in the whole wide world. My amazing other half, and the best dad ever. We love you so much."

Friends and family were shocked to hear of the tragic news and posted messages of support.

Fiona Drummond said: "Oh Tasha. I’m so completely heartbroken and devastated for you all. I’ve got so many wonderful memories of growing up with Ross. He was my much loved cousin and I’ll miss him. We’re here for you all."
