Partick Thistle have snapped up right-back Lee Hodson on a six-month loan deal, marking his first return to Glasgow since leaving Rangers in 2019.
The 24-time capped Northern Ireland defender has been with Kilmarnock since last year, helping them return to the Premiership from the Championship. He now joins Thistle in the second tier to help their ambitions of getting back to Scotland's top flight.
Hodson's first permanent foray into Scottish football was with Rangers in 2016 after a loan at Killie, but he struggled to make a sustained impact and left three years later for Gillingham after a loan at St Mirren. He's since been back at the Buddies and had time with Hamilton Accies before his return to Ayrshire. Jags boss Ian McCall - who's Partick Thistle side play Queen's Park later on Saturday - says Hodson was his main defensive target this summer as part of his recruitment drive.

He said: “Lee was my number one target to add to the defensive ranks and I’m delighted that he is joining us on loan. It took a little bit of time to do, but he is a quality player.
"It is always worth waiting that little bit of time for someone who will add quality to our squad. Lee has experience of winning at this level, being part of the Kilmarnock team which won the league last season.
"He’s a player that I can see making a real impact in our squad this season. Lee is the perfect type of defender as he is versatile and can fill in across the back line."
