Part of Piccadilly line to close for two weeks ahead of new trains entering service

A stretch of the Piccadilly line will close for two weeks from Saturday for engineering works, Transport for London has announced.

There will be no service on the northernmost section of the line between Cockfosters and Wood Green until September 1 because of engineering works to get the track ready for 94 new trains set to be introduced next year.
