Parliamentary panel expresses concern over investments in cryptocurrencies

A parliamentary panel on Wednesday termed as "alarming" the investment of thousands of crores of rupees in virtual digital assets like cryptocurrency and favoured continuation of the tax on all such digital transactions.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, headed by BJP member Bhartruhari Mahtab, had a detailed discussion on virtual digital assets.
