Parliament Monsoon Session: Lok Sabha to take up Supreme Court Judges Amendment Bill

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are scheduled to take up key legislative business on Friday during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, with several important Bills listed for consideration, passing and introduction.

In the Lok Sabha, the government will move the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Amendment Bill, 2026 for consideration and passing. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will move the Bill, which seeks to further amend the Supreme Court (Number of Judges) Act, 1956.
