Chennai: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, P Chidambaram, on Thursday criticised the functioning of Parliament, alleging that no meaningful business took place during the Monsoon Session and accusing the Centre of passing Bills without adequate discussion.
Addressing a Congress meeting, Chidambaram said debates in state assemblies were more effective compared to Parliament and cited the Tamil Nadu Assembly as an example.
