Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly put Aymeric Laporte on their summer wish-list amid rumours the defender could seek a Manchester City exit at the end of the season.
The Spain international has played just 16 times this term with Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake ahead of him in the pecking order. Knee surgery meant the 28-year-old missed the first two months of the season and he has been unable to reclaim a spot in the starting XI since.
Laporte has played just six Premier League games this season, having been mainly used as a cup competition player. As a result, it is rumoured that he will seek regular playing time elsewhere.

Football Insider reports that City are unwilling to let him join a Premier League rival and that PSG have earmarked him as a target. It’s thought the Blues are resigned to taking a loss on the £52.7m fee they paid Athletic Bilbao for Laporte in 2018.
With his contract running until 2025, the report claims he could go for around £40m as Pep Guardiola eyes RB Leipzig and Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol as his replacement.
Meanwhile, Onda Cera is claiming Guardiola’s brother, Pere, has met with the sister of Celta Vigo star Gabri Veiga. The 20-year-old is being backed to leave his employers this summer with the likes of City, Manchester United and Liverpool all interested.
Newcastle, Napoli, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are all circling the promising youngster too. Veiga has nine assists and three goals in 25 La Liga games in his first full senior season and clubs are hoping to take advantage of his £35m release clause.
Veiga currently has no agent with his sister running his representational affairs for now. The player is seeking a new overhead and Pere Guardiola reportedly met with his sibling to put forward a proposal for the vacancy.
