Chelsea still have time to sign Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick as competition heats up for the 16-year-old's signature.
A host of Europe's top clubs are all determined to bring the talented striker in on a transfer even though he only made his first senior start last month. At just 16, he has already scored three goals in seven games.
The attention on Endrick comes as a decision on his future is expected in 2023, although he can't join a new team until 2024 when he turns 18. That hasn't stopped suitors from doing their best to convince him already though, with Chelsea trying to get ahead of the queue by inviting his father Douglas to Cobham.

Endrick's release clause is reportedly a staggering £52m - more than Real Madrid paid for Vinicius Jr but still short of Barcelona's deal to sign Neymar - and that well well be the price that Todd Boehly has to meet in order to get the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge.
Not only is there competition for the transfer, with a possible bidding war on the cards, Chelsea may well have to act quickly in order to stay in the hunt. Douglas said to Canal do Nicola: "There are clubs from several countries that are interested, but the only one that has sat down with Palmeiras was PSG.
"They talked, made proposals, but Palmeiras refused. They saw that Endrick could still give Palmeiras a lot."
This comes as the Evening Standard report that Chelsea themselves are going to enter discussions for the teenager. This is nothing new for Boehly, he spent over £50m on 18-year-olds in his first transfer window at the club, signing Endrick would be the biggest coup of them all but also looks set to be the toughest deal to complete too.
