Paris Hilton offers 'big reward' to find dog Diamond Baby after it escapes family home

Paris Hilton has offered a 'big reward' to find her family's beloved dog after the pet escaped last week.

The podcast host, 41, took to Instagram on Monday to reveal her pet Chihuahua called Diamond Baby has been lost since Wednesday. She has now asked her followers for help to reunite her with the pooch and said her heart is broken at losing the animal which she described as being "like a daughter to me".

Paris admitted she was initially reluctant to publicly ask for help as "people can be cruel" but now feels as though it is the last resort and has offered a "big reward for her return".

She shared pictures of her pet on both her own Instagram page and also her @hiltonpets handle. The animal is described as being a little shy and has black and brown fur. The female dog was last seen at the star's home in Beverly Hills and Paris believes she must have escaped as she was moving home.

Paris began her lengthy post: "This is so incredibly hard for me to post because I’ve been at a loss of words. Diamond Baby @HiltonPets has been missing since last Wednesday. I was at a photoshoot and we’re moving houses and one of the movers must have left a door open.

"My family and friends have been helping me search high and low throughout my entire neighborhood and have gone door to door but we still haven’t found her. We have hired a pet detective, a dog whisperer, a pet psychic and looking into dog finding drones now. I’m doing everything in my power to get her back."

She continued her appeal by describing how her heart is broken and revealed she has been "in tears, so sad and depressed" since her disappearance.

"I feel like a part of me is missing and nothing is the same without her here," she added. "Diamond Baby is my everything, truly like a daughter to me. We were inseparable, she was my best friend and always by my side."

And she believes that as every day passes, it is less likely the story will have a happy ending. She concluded by urging anyone who has any tips about the animal's whereabouts to get in touch, admitting there will be a "no questions asked" policy for the dog's safe return.

"Please, please, please email if you know ANYTHING and please keep an eye out for my baby," she ended her appeal before adding a crying face emoji in the comments section of the post.
