Paris Hilton has opened up about her IVF treatment and said she 'can't wait' to start a family with her husband Carter Reum.
The 41-year-old socialite said her eggs are 'stocked and ready' for IVF transfer in 2023 and revealed she and Carter began their journey during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Paris said lockdown was the 'perfect time' for them to start as her usually hectic DJ schedule was put on hold.
"We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down," she said.
"We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, 'This is perfect timing. Usually I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready'.
"We really wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple, you know, before bringing kids into the mix. So now that we just had our year anniversary, I can’t wait for 2023," Paris said in an interview with People.
Paris' chat comes after her mum Kathy Hilton recently said she was 'heartbroken' that her daughter has struggled to fulfil her dream of becoming a mum.
The 63-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said she has urged her daughter to 'relax' as many people find it difficult to conceive.
"It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying and I always say, 'Just relax'," Kathy said in an interview with E! News.
"So many people, they struggle and it doesn't just happen like that."
Paris has said having children is one of her 'top priorities', adding that she wants to have two or three children with Carter.
"I would want twins first - or I don't know, it's hard to say," she told E! News' Daily Pop.
Paris added: "Like I always wish I had an older brother, 'cause I feel like if I did they would protect me and things like that... in school. So maybe a boy first."
Paris and Carter said 'I do' last November during a lavish ceremony at her late grandfather's Bel-Air estate. They followed their three-day wedding celebration with a seven-week honeymoon.
Gushing over her husband on Instagram last month, she said: "Thank you for all of the love, happiness, and endless laughter.
"You are my rock and I’m so thankful to call you mine. Carter, as my partner in life, number one hype man, and best friend, I love you so incredibly much."
