A baby's parents say she could have died because the "on its knees" NHS cut corners when she fell ill. Dad Joshua Chappell had to drive three-month-old Felicity to A&E before the parents saw her readmitted less than 24 hours later.
Joshua and Felicity's mum, Lucy, waited four-and-a-half hours for an ambulance that never came. They say Felicity had been having breathing problems and involuntary head movements.
She was assessed and diagnosed with bronchiolitis, before they were told to get saline solution from a pharmacy. However, when they did, the pharmacist immediately sent them to their GP before Felicity spent 10 days back in hospital, reports StokeonTrentLive. Following the ordeal, Joshua and Lucy have condemned the current state of the NHS.
