Parents have boldly told how they saved thousands taking their children out of school for term-time holidays, despite being fined each time.
Brogan and Shane Cole, 30, looked forward to holidaying in Zante with their two children Archie Cole, 10, and Ellie Cole, seven - choosing to book the 11-day break for May 18 - which happened to be during the school term.
Despite saving money on the booking dates, the parents were hit with a £240 fine for taking their children out of school.
