A mum and dad have revealed they name their six children after the things they love - including, films, bands and sports stars.
Parents Pippa Tinsley, 32, and husband Luke, 33 have named all of their kids - aged between three and 15 - after something close to their hearts. Daughter Bambi got her moniker from her mum's favourite Disney movie and six-year-old son Hatton was named after British boxing legend Ricky Hatton, to celebrate his parents' love for the sport.
The couple kept the boxing theme when naming their youngest son Rocky-Tyson, three, after Sylvester Stallone's character Rocky Balboa and two-time heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury. Pippa had always wanted one of her girls to have name inspired by Disney, and although 'Bambi' started as a joke, the name stuck and was given to their four-year-old daughter.
Meanwhile Pippa's eldest Joel Scofield, 15, was named after the lead singer of Good Charlotte, Joel Madden, and the main character Michael Schofield from the hit TV show Prison Break.
Pippa, a full-time beauty student, from Grantham, Lincolnshire, said: "There are so many common names out there, why not stand out a bit. We're both obsessed with boxing, so we knew there were going to be boxing-inspired names in there.
"Joel recently did some boxing through school and Hatton has started at Amir Unsworth Boxing Academy where his dad used to take him training and he's now old enough to join. I also knew I was going to have a Disney name for one of them and Bambi was on a list of ridiculous names, as a bit of a joke, but it just stuck.
"Some people still don't believe that's actually her name. To be honest she's such a feral child - we should have called her Mowgli.
"I love all our kids' name and I don't care what anyone thinks - they're fun and unique."
Pippa said she is 'obsessed' with all things Disney and knew that she wanted one of her children to be named after a character from a film. When the name Bambi came up, Pippa and Luke, who works as a full-time carer, both fell in love with it.
Earlier this month, Love Island star Molly-Mae announced on Instagram that she had chosen the same name for her own newborn daughter.
Pippa said: "I've been tagged in so many Molly-Mae stories - it's doing my head in! It's funny, Bambi has always just been our daughter's name, it's never been this talked about.
"At first I liked Belle, but it was my father-in-law's dog's name - so that was off the table. Luke and I both realised we loved the name Bambi, and it definitely suits her."
The couple's two middle daughters - Autumn-Kyla, 13, and Sara-Lileigh, 11 - also have unique names that were both inspired by their beloved nanny.
Pippa said: "They're not quite as unusual, but both are still very special to us and have lots of meaning behind them. My mum Sara had a cancer scare, and I wanted to name one of my children after her.
"Mum also helped me come up with the spelling for Leliegh - it's so different and no one else spells it like that. Autumn was again, inspired by my mum, who wanted to call me Autumn but went with Pippa in the end.
"I was going Autumn Whitney, after Whitney Houston, but then the character Whitney joined Eastender – which put me off the name. I don’t like associating their names with anyone else.
"I love how different all of their names and none of them are really outrageous. They're all really special and have a story behind them."
