A school served Muslim pupils pork sausages, leaving parents "outraged". Then mistake happened at Ryders Green Primary in West Bromwich, which blamed it on a supplier error.
The incident happened on Thursday, May 12. Those who follow Islam are forbidden from eating pork and the pupils should have been served vegetarian sausages.
It led to a reported protest outside the Midlands school on Friday morning. A Muslim parent told BlackCountryLive she was refunded the cost of the meal but was left upset.
