Furious parents have slammed a school which has told girls they must use a red hall pass while on their period to allow them access to toilets.
Penrice Academy, in Cornwall, has introduced new procedures for pupils’ use of the facilities during class time.
As part of the new rules children are not allowed to use the bathroom during lessons and girls must carry a red card pass when they are on their period.
