Parents across Perth and Kinross owe a total bill of £20,000 for unpaid school meals.

Councillors last week agreed to clear the dinner debt as part of plans to write off unrecovered payments.

The total also includes unpaid debts from sales ledgers, council tax, non-domestic rates, irrecoverable rents, housing benefit overpayments and unpaid parking fees.
