There will be no short-term changes to the Rangers' broadcasting situation.
As expected, Diamond Sports Holding, the parent company of Bally Sports Southwest, made its scheduled June 15 payment to the Rangers on Thursday, according to two people with knowledge of the situation. It means Bally/Diamond remains in good standing on its contract with the Rangers and will continue to own local broadcast rights.
Games will continue to air on Bally Sports Southwest and are available through cable providers with whom Diamond has contracts.
