Tragedy struck in Sudan as at least 100 people lost their lives and many others were injured following a brutal attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces on a village in Gezira province. The victims, including women, children, and the elderly, were targeted in the assault on Wad al-Noura village.
Reports indicate that the RSF used heavy artillery to besiege and attack the village, resulting in a devastating toll on the residents. The Madani Resistance Committee, a grassroots group in Wad Madani, accused the paramilitary force of looting the village amidst the attacks.
